General Questions

The dinners are designed for any couples looking to improve their relationship. Whether you're in a new relationship and want to build strong foundations, or you've been together for years and are seeking ways to reconnect and strengthen your bond, these experiences are for you. Couples at any stage can benefit from this unique opportunity to enhance communication, deepen intimacy, and foster a more fulfilling connection.

Our dinners are specifically designed for couples to explore and deepen their connection together. While we don’t offer sessions for individuals at this time, we’re always open to feedback and exploring future offerings that might support singles in their journey. If that’s something you’re interested in, feel free to reach out—we’d love to hear from you!

It’s natural for one partner to feel more hesitant than the other. These dinners are designed to be low-pressure, enjoyable, and inclusive. The exercises are private between you and your partner, and participation in group sharing is completely optional. Many couples find that once they experience the relaxed, supportive environment, they feel more at ease and open to the process.

You can also share with your partner that the focus is on strengthening your relationship together, not singling anyone out. The skills and insights gained can benefit both partners, whether the relationship is new or well-established.

That’s completely okay! Our dinners are designed to be approachable and welcoming, no matter your prior experience. The format is guided and structured, with clear instructions for each exercise. You’ll have the privacy to connect with your partner during the exercises and the option to share only what you’re comfortable with in group reflections. Many couples find this a great way to explore new ways of connecting in a safe and supportive environment.

Our dinners focus on creating a guided, interactive experience that fosters connection and growth in a relaxed and supportive environment. Unlike traditional counseling, which often delves into specific issues or past experiences, these sessions emphasize present-moment connection through practical exercises, reflective discussions, and shared insights.

The goal is to provide couples with tools and experiences to enhance their relationship in a proactive and engaging way, without the formal structure of therapy. It’s about building stronger communication, understanding, and intimacy in a safe, enjoyable setting.

Logistics

The dinner runs over three hours and is designed as an interactive experiential workshop to help couples deepen their connection. Here’s how it works:

  • Bring Your Own Meal: Participants bring their own food, creating a relaxed and personal atmosphere.
  • Guided Activities: We introduce three related topics under a broader theme. Each topic includes guided exercises designed to foster connection and understanding.
  • Private Exercises: Couples turn off their microphones and cameras during exercises to ensure privacy and focus on each other.
  • Group Reflection: After each exercise, everyone comes back together to reflect, ask questions, and share their experiences in a supportive group setting.

To make the most of the experience, there may be preparation activities leading up to the dinner and extension exercises for those who want to continue exploring the themes between sessions.

A Taste of Dinner & Conversation is scheduled for Saturday February 1, 2025.

Times:

  • 5 PM – 8 PM Pacific
  • 8 PM – 11 PM Eastern
  • Sunday in Australia: 12 noon.

The dinners series will be held from April 2025 through January 2026.

We will be scheduling additional programs soon. To express interest or inquire about different time zones, contact us here.

The dinner sessions are hosted on Zoom, providing a secure and interactive space for guided activities, group reflections, and discussions.

In addition, if you are part of the Dinner & Conversation Series, you’ll gain access to a private community space on Circle, where you can find session recordings (excluding reflections), connect with other participants, ask questions, and engage with facilitators.

Clear instructions for accessing both Zoom and Circle will be shared after registration to ensure a seamless experience.

Yes, being on screen is an important part of the workshop experience. Reflection and sharing with other couples play a key role in the learning process. While your personal conversations remain private, group discussions provide a supportive space to share insights, hear different perspectives, and deepen your understanding. This sense of connection often enhances the experience for everyone involved.

You’ll need to bring:

  • Your Meal: Prepare or bring your favorite dinner to enjoy during the session.
  • Notebook, Paper, and Pen (or iPad): These will be helpful for completing exercises or jotting down any reflections and insights during the dinner.
  • An Open Mind: The evening is designed to foster connection and growth, so come ready to explore new ideas and engage with your partner.
  • A Comfortable Setup: Ensure you have a quiet space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone for group discussions.

We’ll provide any materials or prompts needed for the exercises beforehand, so you’ll be fully prepared to make the most of the experience.

Cost and Payment

Privacy & Confidentiality

No, sharing personal details with the group is not required. While you’ll have opportunities to reflect and discuss in group settings, you can always choose how much or how little to share.

The sessions are designed to prioritize your privacy and comfort. During exercises, you’ll turn off your camera and microphone to focus privately with your partner. While group reflections are encouraged, participation is always optional, and you can share only what you feel comfortable with.

Additionally, the sessions are hosted on Zoom, a secure platform, and recordings are limited to introductions and exercise explanations only. Group discussions and reflections are never recorded.

Group sharing is entirely optional. While we encourage reflection and discussion to enhance the experience, you’re never required to share if you’re not comfortable. You can simply listen and take in the insights from others, focusing on the private exercises with your partner.

No, participation requires having your camera on during group discussions. This is essential to create a safe, respectful environment where everyone feels seen and valued. While we encourage active engagement, you’re never required to share personal details. Turning on your camera helps foster trust and connection within the group.

For private exercises with your partner, cameras and microphones are turned off to maintain privacy.

Confidentiality is a top priority. Group reflections are not recorded, and participation is optional, so you can control what you share. All participants are asked to respect the privacy of others by keeping shared experiences and personal details confidential.
